Today’s quote comes to us from Senator, and Democrat (sort of) presidential hopeful, Bernie Sanders.
Mr. Sanders is currently being interviewed by CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tapper’s show, “State of the Nation”. Tapper just quoted two Democrats who have expressed fears that, if Sanders were the Democrat nominee, his message would hurt the party and maybe cause the loss of its majority in the House of Representatives.
Sanders’ answer?
“The truth is that our agenda is precisely the agenda that the overwhelming majority of the American people want.”
Please note that Senator Sanders did reference the overwhelming majority of, say, hard left Democrats, or the AOC/rashida tlaib/Michael Moore crowd, he referenced the overwhelming majority of the American people.
Is Sanders living in an alternative universe, or what?
This is the same country that elected Republican Donald Trump President, a Republican majority in the U.S Senate and a Republican majority in 62% the country’s state senate and assembly chambers. But an overwhelming majority of Americans sign on to the agenda of a self-professed socialist?????
Yeah, right. And Rudy Giuliani was just made honorary leader of antifa.
