According to the lead story in today\’s New York Times, the supposed coalition being built by President Obama against ISIS (or, as he self-superiorly calls it, ISIL) has three new members: The UK, Belgium and Denmark.
Why do I still call it a “Fauxalition”? Because all three have instructed Mr. Obama that they will only help with air strikes – no boots on the ground – and they will only help with air strikes aimed at Iraqi targets – not Syria, where ISIS actually has its base of operations.
In other words, the “coalition” remains a fraudulent dog and pony show; a “fauxalition”.
That answer your question? I hope so.
