THE NEW YORK TIMES NAILS ISRAEL. AGAIN.

Ken Berwitz

A Palestinian Arab – in this particular case, a 13 year old girl, took a run at an Israeli security guard with a knife, and was shot to death.

Sadly, not one part of this is surprising.  The brave Palestinian Arab warriors often employ children to do their dirty work, girls and boys both, and – despite the fact that most mainstream media have stopped writing about it – the wave of random of stabbings committed by Palestinian Arabs on random Israeli Jews has continued, unabated.

But this time the New York Times – a Jewish-owned newspaper which has made a point of giving Israel the short end of the stick for decades – decided to put up an article about what happened.  And here is the original headline it used:

For the time being the entire Western media seems to playing safe and doing what they do when only Israelis are killed in terrorist attacks: refusing to report the attack at all.

***************************************************************************

People not interested in this particular kind of article – and there are probably a great many of them – might just skim that headline.  And, if they did, what would they “know” about this incident?  They would know that a 13 year old girl was shot dead by an armed guard.  Those Israeli bastards, look what they do to children.

I don\’t know if there was an outcry over this outrageous distortion of reality, but at some point afterward — once a lot of the damage was done – the headline changed to “Palestinian Girl WithKnife Killed by Israeli Guard, Police Say”.

“Police Say”?  Here is a paragraph from the body of the article:

According to the Israeli police, Ms. Abu Eid quarreled withher family on Saturday morning and then left her home with a knife “intendingto die.” She arrived at the settlement about 8 a.m., the police said in astatement, and ran toward the civilian guard at the entrance, who opened fire.Grainy security camera footage from the scene appeared to show a girl with aknife in her hand chasing a guard.

They have security camera footage – grainy or otherwise – showing a girl with a knife taking a run at the guard.  That\’s not “police say“, that\’s “video shows“.  But at the New York Times, it\’s a he said-she said.

Simply stated, The New York Times dislikes Israel intensely.  This is just the latest example.

And based on its history, article after article, year after year, decade after decade, I doubt that we\’ll have to wait very long for the next one.
