The IRS scandal – which I have called the Lie-RS scandal because no one in the Obama administration ever seems to tell the truth about it – is getting bigger by the day.
In just this past week, we have been told that somehow – magically and mystically – years of lois “liar” lerner\’s emails were lost.
lerner, you may recall, was the head of the IRS\’s tax exempt division when they were putting applications for tax exempt status, from groups with names suggesting they might oppose Barack Obama, in limbo – neither approving them nor disapproving them (which would allow an appeal), but just holding off so the groups\’ hands were tied…right through the 2012 elections. And then, when she was hauled in to explain her actions, pleaded the fifth – something even Michael Corleone didn\’t do. That, by itself, stinks to high heaven.
But then we were told that six other members of her group, all of whom might shed light on what really happened at the IRS, had their emails destroyed as well. We were supposed to believe this was nothing more than an unfortunate coincidence: an even bigger stinkburger.
And now? Now we are told that the hard drives were “recycled” and the emails are gone forever.
You would have to be a human potato – a spud – to believe a word of this BS.
And the funny part (funny as in ironic; there is nothing laughable about these lying, scandalous frauds) is that, as any person with a reasonable level of IT capability can tell you, those emails still are not lost.
What about the server? What about the backup? What about the fact that when emails are sent to someone they are sent from someone, whose files presumably are just fine?
What will they do next? Claim that the storage facilities all were destroyed too? That a spaceship decscended from Remulac and Beldar Conehead took them? That a really large dog ate them all?
Do yourself a favor and read Rachel Blade\’s article about this latest load of BS at the (usually Obama-friendly) politico.com web site. When you do, be sure to read some of the comments (you won\’t be able to read all of them – as I post this the total is approaching 10,000, which I have no doubt is an all-time record for politico.com). You will find that virtually every one of them either is an outraged complaint that this is all a lie, an explanation of why the emails are almost certainly still in existence, or both.
Can it be that this latest, wholly transparent insult to our intelligence has tipped a great many of them over the edge, to where they no longer can hold their head up and defend these liars?
And if this is happening at politico.com, what do you think is happening elsewhere?
How do we endure 2 1/2 more years of Barack Obama?
