Israel was attacked by Iran yesterday. An estimated 300 drone missiles were fired at the country, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Assuming the 300 number is accurate (facts are a liquid commodity in war) Israel, along with US forces, managed – astonishingly – to take out almost all of them.
So what is Israel supposed to do now that it has been directly attacked by an enemy sworn to its annihilation?
Here, from Joe Hutchison’s article at London’s Daily Mail (one of many sources saying exactly the same thing), is President Joe Biden’s advice:
Biden warns Netanyahu US will NOT support Israel’s counterattack on Iran amid fears of all-out war: President tells PM in late-night call ‘you got a win, take the win’ after IDF shot down ‘nearly all’ incoming drones and missiles
- President Biden has made it clear to Benjamin Netanyahu that US forces will not join offensive operations against Iran, according to reports
- The comments were made by Biden during a phone call between the two leaders after Iran unleashed a drone and missile attack on Israel
- Biden released a statement following the call between the two leaders saying it had reaffirmed America’s ‘ironclad commitment to the security of Israel’
Brilliant.
Joe Biden, the military genius who showed his capabilities during our withdrawal from Afghanistan (a cataclysmic disaster on steroids), has advised Israel to declare Iran’s attack a “win” and let it go as if nothing never happened – thus, presumably allowing Iran to keep attacking at will, without anything being done about it, until some of those drones are more successful – maybe hitting a residential area in a major city.
This, let us never forget, is the same Joe Biden who, literally, financed Iran’s military actions, by lifting the sanctions imposed by Donald Trump so it could make billions from oil, and then unfreezing more billions by lifting the sanctions against Iran that President Trump had imposed.
And now that Iran, flush with the money Biden has handed it on a silver platter, attacks Israel, Biden’s response is a warning. Not a warning to Iran, but a warning to Israel.
Does that make any sense to you?
If so, I certainly will understand your vote for Biden in November (assuming he is the Democrat candidate at that time – which I seriously doubt will be the case).
What I will think about it is another story.
