Astore that sells new husbands has opened in Manhattan , where a womanmay go to choose a husband.
Hereare the instructions on how to shop, posted at the entrance to thestore:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE!There are six floors and the value of the products increase as theshopper goes up each flight. The shopper may choose any item from aparticular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but youcannot go back down except to exit the building!
So,a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the firstfloor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1– These men Have Jobs
She is intrigued, butcontinues to the second floor, where the sign reads:
Floor2 – These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
“That\’snice,” she thinks, “but I want more.”
So shecontinues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor3 – These men Have Jobs, LoveKids, and are Extremely Good Looking.
“Wow,”she thinks. “I can\’t wait to see what\’s next”.
Shegoes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor4 – These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Lookingand Help With Housework.
“WOW, I canhardly stand it!”
She goes to thefifth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 5– These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help withHousework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
Sheis so tempted to stay. But hoping for even more, she goes to thesixth floor, where the sign reads:
Floor 6– You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men here. Itexists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank youfor shopping at the Husband Store.
PLEASE NOTE:
Toavoid gender bias charges, the store\’s owner opened a New Wives storejust across the street.
The first floor has wivesthat love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex,have money and like beer
The third, fourth,fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.
