THE HATE-FILLED INTOLERANCE OF BRAD AVAKIAN

Well, it is finalized.  Aaron and Melissa Klein, the young Oregon couple who owned a bakery and refused to print a same-sex inscription on a wedding cake, are being fined $135,000.

Reminding you:  they did NOT refuse service to the gay women who wanted the cake, nor did they refuse to sell them a cake.  The sum total of their “crime” was, because the Klein\’s are devoutly religious and believe homosexuality to be a mortal sin, they refused to write a same-sex inscription on the cake.

Since then, the gay couple – who could have solved this issue by simply going to another bake shop or by buying the cake they wanted, investing maybe $5 for a squeeze-bag with some icing, and inscribing anything they cared to – have made sure that the Klein\’s went out of business and now owe an amount of money which, in the absence of charitable donations, they could not hope to pay.

And if that were not enough, Oregon Labor Commissioner brad avakian, the hate-filled, intolerant idiot – that\’s right, hate-filled, intolerant idiot – who made this ruling, also placed a gag order on the Kleins, which forces them to “cease and desist” talking about his ruling.

In other words, your business is closed, you are fined $135,000, and you can\’t tell anyone what you think about it.  Have a nice day.

Welcome to North Korea on the west coast..

I have a question for avakian and his likeminded hate-filled, intolerant idiots:  if this is what you do to someone who, for religious reasons, will not inscribe a message on a cake, what will you do if you catch one of the Klein\’s children riding his bicycle on the sidewalk?  Give him the chair?

Here\’s another question:  what if, tomorrow, someone comes to you and tells you a Muslim bakery won\’t make the same inscription (and I would bet body parts that most Muslim-owned bakeries fall into that category)?  Are you going fine the owners $135,000 too?  Are you going to put them out of business and tell them they no longer have freedom of speech?  Or does your hate-filled intolerance only extend to Christians?

If I were the Kleins, I would ask their friends to go to a few such bakeries and ask for a same-sex inscribed cake.  Then, if they were refused, to go straight to brad avakian\’s office and tell his people either that bakery must be taken down exactly the same way as the Kleins\’ bakery was, or the inquisitional ruling against the Kleins must be summarily vacated.  And tell all the newspapers about avakian\’s decision.

This used to be a free country.  But it won\’t be any more if the avakians of the world prevail.

They may be able to shut Aaron and Melissa Klein up.  But they didn\’t shut me up.  Nor did they shut you up.

The time to speak out is now.
