The radical islamist attack on a restaurant in Dhaka, Bangladesh (one frequented by westerners -no surprise there), and hostage-taking situation, is, we are told, over.
The police claim at least 6 terrorists are dead. They are still counting the dead and injured among restaurant patrons.
ISIS – the “jayvee squad” President Obama talked about in 2014 – has taken “credit” for the attack.
How many more dead – how many thousands more dead – before media start blaming people like Barack Obama for first ignoring, then underestimating, then doing too little to stop this “jayvee squad from becoming an international terrorist behemoth? Ever?
How many failures must there be, and how big must the failures be, for this to happen?
A question for you: if our next President happens to be a Republican – whether Donald Trump or (I hope) someone else – and there are terrorist strikes from the monster President Obama stood by and allowed to grow, do you doubt these same media will be loudly demanding to know why that President did not protect us?
This is what happens when you have compromised, partisan media. Which is exactly what, for the most part, we have today.
UPDATE: As of about 8:30AM Eastern Time, CNN is reporting that 20 hostages and two police officers are dead…with 13 hostages rescued (though possibly injured). The restaurant patrons were hacked and stabbed to death.
I will not be surprised if the final casualty numbers wind up being even higher.
But at least it’s not radical Islam. Just ask President Obama.
