Many Democrats, and their media sycophants told us that, on January 8, 2011, when jared lee loughner killed 6 people at a rally for then-congressperson Gabrielle Giffords, and injured 13 others, including Ms. Giffords – who survived but could not continue in congress – he was influenced by a flyer from the Sarah Palin camp showing a map of the USA with crosshairs on a number of vulnerable congressional districts, including the one held by Ms. Giffords.
Now tell me: what will these same people say if someone takes a pot-shot at Ted Cruz after seeing this Associated Press picture?
That graphic enough for you?
Cruz was speaking at a rally in support of the 2nd amendment, and the photographer, Charlie Neibergall, obviously placed himself in a way that would result in this visual effect.
Incidentally, the claim about jared lee loughner was an absolute lie. Nowhere in loughner\’s writings, or in his personal effects, was there any reference to Sarah Palin or to the flyer. In fact, there is no evidence loughner ever even saw the flyer – which, in any event, used a “crosshairs” graphic that many other politicians, both Democrat and Republican, have used in the past, and referenced a number of congressional districts, not just hers.
By contrast, anyone who sees this picture sees a gun pointed directly at Ted Cruz\’s head. Period.
But was there anything about the availability of this ugly photograph on the Sunday morning shows? How about in your paper or on the network morning shows today?
I talk a lot about media bias in here. This is why.
