The previous blog made note of former president Bill Clinton\’s insulting “I just work here, I don\’t know” lie about where the hundreds of millions of dollars in the foundation that bears his (and his wife and daughter\’s) name has gone.
Well, Hillary Clinton, who is running for President, is no better.
Here are the first two paragraph\’s from Zack C. Cohen\’s article at National Journal:
When the press corps comically sprinted across an Iowa lawn in pursuit of Hillary Clinton\’s van, they weren\’t just hoping to catch a glimpse of the most-likely Democratic presidential nominee. They were hoping to ask Clinton questions, and-in the dream scenario-get an answer.
Those answers, however, have been few and far between. Despite being bombarded with press questions at every chance, Clinton has only personally answered eight inquiries since formally launching her campaign April 12. Instead, she has spoken directly to voters in Iowa and New Hampshire, taking their questions in small-scale events
It seems impossible, doesn\’t it? Today is the 28th day of Ms. Clinton\’s formal candidacy. And, with media representation from every major news venue and a ton of minor ones as well trying to ask questions and get answers from her, Clinton has deigned to answer a total of 8. That\’s less than one question every three days.
By contrast, Carly Fiorino, the former head of Hewlett-Packard, who most people consider a distant long-shot to win the Republican nomination, answered over 50 questions in her first day as a candidate.
That\’s the difference between a Queen and a peasant. Between someone who feels that, as a presidential candidate, she owes the country answers, and someone who thinks she is above having to provide them.
Why do media continue to roll over and play dead for Queen Hillary? Even as they – grudgingly, it appears – are forced to discuss the financial sewer that very well may be The Clinton Foundation, and the email scandal in which she just got rid of everything she didn\’t want you and I to see? Why do they willingly allow themselves to do little other than pant and beg on her behalf?
Sorry, you\’ll have to ask them, because I can\’t come up with any good answer at all.
