She tried dismissing the email scandal as nothing. That didn\’t work.
Then she tried joking about it, by asking if wiping a server meant “with a cloth or something“, and then telling an audience she signed on to Snapchat because “I love it – those messages disappear all by themselves“. That didn\’t work, and was roundly criticized to boot.
Then she tried “apologizing”: not for using a personal server over the entire four years she was Secretary Of State, but for being “confusing” about doing so – while continuing to assure us that doing so was entirely proper and allowed. That didn\’t work.
Now she is “apologizing” for using the server, and saying she takes full responsibility….without explaining in any way why she suddenly is apologetic or what taking responsibility means.
Anyone who believes a word that comes out of Hillary Clinton\’s mouth is either hopelessly, unconditionally in love with her no matter how many times she lies to our faces, or a big enough sucker for even P. T. Barnum to shake his head in amazement at.
Hillary Clinton inevitable? Believe me, she\’s evitable. And as ripe for the plucking as a blood-red tomato.
