Two more instances of school insanity for you:
In New Bedford, Mass., a high school teacher, following school policy, confiscated a student\’s cell phone after he took it out in class. The student\’s reaction was to mouth off at the teacher in an extremely disrespectful way, then pick up a chair and hurl it at her desk. Fortunately she was not hit by the chair or the flying pieces of it.
Now the teacher is being threatened with termination. Why? Because the principal decided she did not fill out paperwork about the incident in a timely fashion.
Think I\’m making this up? Well I\’m not. Click here and see for yourself.
Then we have the learning-disabled high school student in McDonald, Pennsylvania who, having been physically and verbally bullied all school year with nothing being done about it, audio-taped several of the bullies as they tormented him. The school\’s reaction? To threaten a felony charge against the victim…because he created the audio-tape without the bullies\’ consent. He wound up being charged with disorderly conduct. The bullies? Unless I missed something, they walked away laughing.
I have to be making this one up, right? Wrong. Click here and read the full account.
If those two incidents are not examples of school insanity, I\’d love to know what is.
And don\’t doubt that plenty of other, equally sick, perversions of school insanity that we never hear of, occur every day.
