President Obama lies so much about so many things that the possibility of this being just another one of his lies cannot be discounted.
But it is so far from reality that you can\’t discount the possibility of delusion either.
Here is the beginning of Jesse Byrnes\’ article at thehill.com. Read it…and see how far your jaw drops in amazement:
PresidentObama believes that the United States is less racially divided thanwhen he took office in 2009.
Askedin an NPR interview set to air starting Monday whether the nation ismore racially divided than six years ago, Obama said “No.”
“Iactually think that it\’s probably in its day-to-day interactions lessracially divided,” Obama told “Morning Edition” hostSteve Inskeep. Excerpts of the interview were released beforebroadcast by NPR.
Amajority of Americans, 53 percent, believe that race relations haveworsened under America\’s first black president, compared to 36percent who say they have stayed the same and 9 percent who say theyhave improved, according to a Bloomberg Politics poll releasedearlier this month.
Think about it: can you look at the USA today and say that, during the Obama years, we have come together racially?
How? Based on what?
To me, the biggest surprise of that poll is not how many people (9%) agree with Mr. Obama that things are better now, it is how many people think they have even stayed the same.
A President who elevates the racist, anti-Semite, serial deadbeat, al Sharpton, to the status of key advisor and confidante, is an administration that doesn\’t give a damn about racial harmony.
As noted earlier, I don\’t know whether Barack Obama is lying to us again in the hopes that we will buy this unsupportable BS, or that he is so deep into delusion that he believes it himself.
But, then again, does it even matter? Which of these two choices is the good one?
