An issue has arisen concerning whether dylann roof\’s massacre of churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina was an act of racial hatred – i.e. violence against people based on their race – or an act of terrorism – i.e. violence against random people because they belong to some race, ethnicity, or live in a particular nation.
The answer is that it was self-evidently both. I don\’t know how anyone can possibly come to a different conclusion.
