On Thursday, Hillary Clinton spoke at a traditionally Black Texas Southern University.
She made a 31 minute speech, using a teleprompter in which she demanded, among other things, that convicted felons be given the vote.
Does Ms. Clinton talk about an issue like that in front audiences that are not vastly Black? Is that racial pandering? Does it suggest something about how she views Black people? I\’ll bet the “journalists” covering her campaign would have liked to ask her questions like that.
But they couldn\’t. Because there is a protective shield surrounding Ms. Clinton that these “journalists” are, for some reason, abiding by.
According to David Martosko\’s report for London\’s Daily Mail:
Reporters covering Thursday\’s event were warned by university staff to remain behind a security barrier erected on the floor of the arena.
\’There will NO opportunities to interview Hillary Clinton,\’ an email advisory to journalists read. \’Her speech will be her interview\’.
Is there any doubt that one of the reasons Queen Hillary is refusing to answer questions is that she does not want to deal with the email scandal and the Clinton Foundation scandal?
What will she do? Hold out for another month or two…and then refuse to answer on the grounds that it is old news?
And the “journalists” who are allowing this to happen are aiding and abetting her in this disgraceful performance.
A few questions for them:
-How does it feel “covering” someone who refuses to speak to you?
-Why are you, and the media venues you represent, allowing this to happen?
-Why are you not threatening to withhold coverage unless and until the candidate starts answering questions, like every other candidate does?
-How can you possibly be a part of this absolute farce, and still consider yourself journalists at all? When does the shame kick in? Ever?
One other thing: if a major Republican candidate tried to pull this kind of stunt, he/she would be attacked mercilessly for it. Not almost two months later (Clinton declared on April 12), but more like two days later. And the attacks would be well deserved.
What does it say about the mainstream media in this country that, even now, Hillary Clinton remains a protected species?
Nothing good.
