Here I sit, at the Espresso Bar of Nordstrom’s in the Freehold Raceway Mall. Some guy just passed my table, maybe 70 or more years old, missing at least half his hair, but with an all-grey fringe around the side, like a modern-day Friar Tuck – and with a tight bun on the back part of the fringe which, presumably, would open up to reveal a remnant of the long hair he probably was proud of 50 years ago.
And I’m thinking to myself, does this man have a mirror? Does anyone care enough about him to tell him how much he needs one?
There are few things more ridiculous looking then older men who do this, in an effort to retrieve their long-gone youth; youth that is not coming back.
It is right up there with the guys who grow one side of their hair a foot long, then roll it around the top of their head like a Carvel cone, to create what they believe is the appearance of having a full head of hair. Or the guys who buy Corvettes, which they then drive with the top down, even in cold or drizzly weather, because they think it makes them look younger, more virile and more desirable. It doesn’t, doesn’t and doesn’t.
Some people need mirrors. Badly.

When I read the title of this piece I thought for sure it was going to be about Clinton’s latest attack on Trump.
That Trump isn’t transparent enough to be potus.
