Not a lot to write here. The latest Gallup data, embodied in this chart, tells the tale:
To me, the most interesting part of this graph is not how low President Obama\’s character ratings have fallen. It is when the latest drop started to take place – which was right about when the public discovered about how badly we were being lied to about ObamaCare.
Until then, many people, for a variety of reasons, looked the other way at every lie, every failure of this administration. But when there was no way to avoid the fact that millions of people couldn\’t keep their current insurance plan, couldn\’t keep their doctor, and that the average family\’s $2,500 insurance premium savings was non-existent, at least some of them – maybe a lot of them – could not rationalize their support for Mr. Obama anymore.
This “liberated” them to see his other failings, which are legion.
If Gallup\’s data are correct – and I strongly suspect they are – then don\’t expect a turnaround either. There is nothing more bitter than a lover who has been betrayed.
