Apparently, Mitt Romney and a few other unhappy establishment types are aggressively trying to recruit a Republican – or maybe not even a Republican (unless Mark Cuban suddenly became one which I doubt – to run third party against Donald Trump, in an effort to deny him the presidency.
I wonder if these people ever consider the fact that their performance is what drove Republican voters into Donald Trump’s arms in the first place.
Maybe they do and maybe they don’t, but either way they don’t appear to be concerned by it.
Better to help elect Hillary Clinton then give their own voters what they want.
This is a mess. And a mess of their own making.
Maybe they should stop what they’re doing and think about that.
Then, maybe the next time they have a Republican majority in both houses of Congress, they will actually promote the programs that Republicans thought they were getting.
That is a lot of maybes. Do you think Mitt & Co. will learn from them?
Personally, I doubt it.
