MARK DESAULNIER ANSWERS AN 11 YEAR OLD’S QUESTION?

I do not know for sure who wrote the question you are about to read.  But I am about 99.9% sure it was not the source being given credit for it.

On Wednesday night, during a “town hall meeting” in Lafayette, California, this question was asked of Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA) at a town hall meeting:

“My name is Eden, and I’m 11 years old.  My mom is worried about my future with President Trump. On election night, my mom cried. Kids at my school are worrying about being deported. I’ve read and heard awful things about him. Should I be worried about my future? As a kid, what can I do about it?”

Anyone in his/her right mind believe that question was written in those words, with that grammar, that syntax and that litany of Democrat talking points, by an 11 year old?

Not at all surprisingly, Rep. DeSaulnier had a great answer ready for the questioner – assuring him/her/them that the real danger to the country is not terrorism, it is Donald Trump (yes, a congressperson really said that).

Why, you’d almost think that he was given the question in advance, so he could put that great answer togeth….well, no.  That never happens in Democrat politics, does it?

I wonder when these people realize that fantasy Q&A routines like this may play wonderfully to an audience of likeminded people, but come across as ridiculous, fully staged BS to most of the rest of us – and may well have been a contributing factor to the disgust level of voters that resulted in Donald Trump winning the presidency.

One other thing:  the “town hall” DeSaulnier spoke at went off smoothly.  It was not infiltrated by an organized group of hard line right wingers with pre-printed signs, screaming down everything he tried to say.

How nice – how fair – it would be if that was what occurred at Republican town hall meetings.
