…as the House voted on Thursday, to allow Operation Epic Fury to continue, and 53 Democrats voted against an anti-Iran resolution, the big three network newscasts were mostly MIA.
While ABC’s World News Tonight, and NBC Nightly News skipped both votes, they did have time to report on the DUI arrest of Britney Spears. CBS Evening News mentioned Trump’s war powers in passing, while the PBS News Hour said nothing on either vote — despite spending more than 20 minutes on pieces of the Iran story.
Only Fox News’s Special Report With Bret Baier offered a full report which mostly covered the war powers vote.
Got that? The House of Representatives – with virtually every Democrat voting against – squeaked through a vote to allow our action against Iran to continue. And 53 Democrats voted against a resolution affirming that Iran was a major source of international terror. But if you watched ABC World News Tonight or NBC Nightly News, you don’t know that, because they didn’t bother to report it. And CBS Evening News was only marginally better.
Still wonder why I rail against these so-called “journalists”?
I didn’t think so.
