A KNOCK-KNOCK JOKE ABOUT IRAN’S NEW “SUPREME LEADER”

The people who make these decisions in Iran (however many are still alive, that is) announced today that they have named mojtaba khamenei – the late “Supreme Leader” ali kahmenei’s son – as the new one.

In his, er, “honor”, I have written a new knock-knock joke.  Here it is:

Knock knock

Who’s there?

khamenei

khamenei who?

khamenei days do you figure it will be before mojtaba joins papa ali in hell?

My guess?  Not many.

I suspect that, unless mojtaba intends to live the rest of his days in a bunker even deeper than the ones they tried to store nuclear material in, he will soon learn that, these days, “Supreme Leader” of Iran is not a long-term position.

On the other hand, this could all be a ruse.  Maybe, in reality, they named someone else “Supreme Leader”, and just announced it was ali khamenei’s son, so they could keep the real one in place, and rid themselves of mojtaba in the process; the Iranian version of hitting for the daily double.

To paraphrase Marie Antoinette (or whoever really said it), that would be like having their chelo kabab and eating it too.

My advice?  Let’s watch the USA and Israel do their military magic and see how this all falls out.  I doubt the wait will be a long one.
