It deserved a quick, decisive death and it got one.
On Thursday, President Trump announced that the execution of nidal nasan will proceed as scheduled on December 3, but will not be televised.
Hallellujah.
Thank you President Trump for, however belatedly, calling off this barbaric “reality show”.
And shame on you for allowing it until there were so many protests – from both sides of the political aisle – that you reconsidered.
nidal hasan was found to be responsible for the terror attack at Fort Hood Texas in 2009, that resulted in the deaths of 13 service members. He richly deserves execution, and it should have taken place years and years ago.
But public execution? Turning his sentence into a TV show? No thanks.
Shame, again, on President Trump for considering such an idea. And triple shame on Secretary Of Defense Pete Hegseth, who tried his best to have the hasan execution made public.
Someone please remind me what Pete Hegseth’s qualifications to be Secretary Of Defense are – other than his fealty to Trump.
