To say the least, Donald Trump has had his ups and downs with press secretaries.
He went from Karoline Leavitt…who was spectacularly capable in her year and a half as Trump’s media spokesperson and left to raise a family…
…to Katie Zacharia, whose first press conference, on Monday, was a disaster. She was clearly nervous and seemingly unprepared, as she continually read from notes with little spontaneity (which is a must for any press secretary).
Now she is being “transitioned out” (that’s a nice way of saying Trump told her it wasn’t going to work and made it clear she had to resign).
Who’s next? I don’t know. But I’m betting it’s not Sunny Hostin.
