THE TRUMP BUMPIf Donald Trump is half as lucky in business as he is politically, there is little wonder that he\’s a multi-billionaire.Just days ago Trump makes a bizarre speech in Fort Dodge, Iowa, in which he says, among other things, that we should “bomb the shit” out of ISIS. And then, days later, ISIS conducts a horrific attack in Paris, leaving about 130 dead (so far) and hundreds more injured, many critically.Now Trump\’s poll numbers are jumping upward…because the murdering subhumans of ISIS have given what he said full credibility.What a world.
I wrote those words three days ago.
Not only do they still ring true today but, because of President Obama\’s arrogant, hubristic press conference, in which he essentially told us that our policies are working just fine – as ISIS grows into an international monster and Syrians flee their country by the millions, with jihadists planted among the “refugees” – Trump\’s bump has turned into a full-fledged surge.
Instead of dropping down to earth, his polling is headed straight for the ionosphere.
Whose doing is this? Incredibly it is President Obama\’s doing. If he were one tenth as adept at fighting terrorism as he is at blaming everyone else for every one of his failures (and they are legion), Trump\’s “solution” would have ridiculed by most people and his poll numbers would have continued to drop.
I\’m starting to wonder if Barack Obama is Donald Trump\’s campaign manager.
He sure as $&#%) isn\’t Hillary Clinton\’s.
