There are reports that, in California alone, 62,000 CDLs (Commercial Driver Licences) have been issues to illegals.
According to factually.co., and other sources, that is incorrect:
Reporting cited by regulators shows roughly 62,000 unexpired non‑domiciled CLP/CDL credentials on California’s rolls as of June 1, 2025; this is the figure most commonly invoked in debates over the state’s licensing of foreign drivers. Crucially, the term “non‑domiciled” is an administrative category that includes a range of people who are not California domiciliaries and may include foreign nationals lawfully present on certain visas or temporary statuses, not exclusively or necessarily those who lack legal immigration status. The sources explicitly note that the number does not equate to all holders being undocumented
Let’s assume the above is correct.
Ok, so how many of the 62,000 are illegals? Half (that would be 31,000)? A quarter (that would be 15,500)? A tenth (that would be 6,200)?
The answer is that there should not be even one. And as reprehensible as Gavin Newsom’s California is in this regard, it is not the only state issuing CDLs to illegals.
Over just the past couple of weeks, we have read about horrific crashes of commercial vehicles driven by people who are not legal; who cannot even read road signs.
It has to end. it has to end NOW.
And Newsom has to explain to us why his state has issued whatever the actual number of CDLs is to illegals.
I’ll end with a question: has this hair-gelled self-caricature, this Guy Smiley lookalike, ever done a thing that has been good for California?
If you think he has, name off a few of them, please. Because I don’t know what they are.
