I believe in you
You know the door to myvery soul
You\’re the light in mydeepest, darkest hour
You\’re my savior when Ifall
And you may not think Icare for you
When you know down insidethat I really do
And it\’s me you need toshow
How deep is your love, howdeep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
\’Cause we\’re living in aworld of fools
Breaking us down when theyall should let us be
We belong to you and me
Those lovely lyrics are from the BeeGees\’ ground-breaking score for “Saturday Night Fever”…..
…which, for the purposes of this blog, will be known as “Hillary Clinton Fever”.
Why that name-change? Well, just watch the following video – only two and a half minutes long – in which Charlie Rose, in his capacity as a “neutral” host of CBS This Morning, desperately tries to get Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio off his conclusion that Hillary Clinton lied in her Benghazi testimony. (And see how completely he fails):
Why did Rose fail? Very simple: because Hillary Clinton lied. Period, end of story. There was no way of getting around that, no matter how many times Rose talked over Rubio and tried to get him to change what he was saying.
How deep is Charlie Rose\’s love for Hillary Clinton (which he shares with so many others in mainstream media)?
Deep enough to make an absolute fool of himself…as you just saw.
Don\’t expect that love to change any time soon, either.
