For a variety of reasons (which I\’ll happily blog about at a later date), Rand Paul is far from my favorite guy. Very, very far.
But I have to admit that he was funny, in a snarky sort of way, by putting up a half-dozen pictures of Hillary Clinton campaigning with Democrat candidates during the midterm election, all of whom lost, using the hashtag “Hillarylosers”.
You can see it on his facebook page. Take a look and see if you can name them all.
This says two things about Ms. Clinton, both of which Democrats had better reconcile themselves to:
1) She has no coattails;
2) She is as lousy a campaigner now as she was back in 2008, when, as the presumptive Presidential candidate who could not lose, she got her tush handed to her by a relatively unknown Senator named Barack Obama.
As I\’ve said before, I consider it no more than 50-50 whether Ms. Clinton will run at all. The physical demands of doing so are beyond enormous, and I have my doubt that she is up to them.
But if she declines to do so, Democrats just may have reason to thank their lucky stars.
