Contrary to reports suggesting Vice President Joe Biden\’swife remains an obstacle to his potential presidential run, sources tell NBCNews that Jill Biden is fully behind him for another bid.
Jill Biden, sources tell NBC\’s Chuck Todd, is 100 percenton-board with a presidential run, despite reports indicating her hesitation ispart of what\’s keeping Biden from jumping into the race.
And that looks more likely by the day, as sources haveindicated Biden\’s been meeting with Democratic leaders during his travelsaround the nation over the past week to tell them he wants to do it and thinksthere\’s room for him to make a credible bid if he does.
Joe Biden? Isn\’t that the 6 term senator and two term Vice President whose poll numbers have run up into the 20\’s without even declaring his candidacy, as Hillary Clinton\’s numbers have fallen through a trap door?
And isn\’t Joe Biden the potential candidate President Obama has made it more than clear he prefers over Ms. Clinton?
In other words, Hillary Clinton\’s worst nightmare is on the cusp of becoming a reality.
Until now, Democrats have – justifiably – snickered at the mega-dogfight between Republican candidates (most exactly, between Donald Trump and just about everyone else).
Well, they better get ready for one of their own. Because with Biden and Clinton duking it out – along with Bernie Sanders and an increasingly desperate Martin O\’Malley – theirs is going to be a doozy on steroids.
