Excerpted from Caroline May\’s piece at nationalreview.com:
Theman who is planning to sue the rescuers who saved his life from asubmerged car for $500,000 is likely in the country illegally, according to a comment given by the man\’s lawyer to Fox News\’Gretchen Carlson.
Coloradorescuers saved Roy Ortiz from a submerged car in September, but now,Ortiz and his lawyer Ed Ferszt have filed an intent to sue the veryfirst responders who saved Ortiz\’s life. Why? Because they believethe rescue took two hours because the divers did not know Ortiz wasalive in the flipped car.
“Ofcourse he was thankful because those divers did have a major role toplay in saving his life that day,” Ferszt toldDenver\’s ABC affiliate earlier this week. “That doesn\’t negatethe fact that a mistake may have been made. I can understand whythere\’s a lot of furor over people thinking that he\’s biting thehand that feeds. Does that mean that officers of North Metro Fire areabove reproach?”
What you just read is not a black-humor satire. It is real. And, further on in the article, it is established that ortiz\’s lawyer believes he is an illegal alien.
So this “man” – who probably is not even here legally – drives his car into water, emergency personnel save his life…and he is suing because they didn\’t do so fast enough for his discerning tastes.
I suggest they send this sack of manure back to where he came from, stick him in a car and submerge him in water there…see how he makes out.
And let his shyster lawyer be in the passenger seat.
