Yesterday, we filled up at Costco…and paid $2.49.9 a gallon. I\’m figuring we\’re not far from $2.25. And it\’s domestic oil doing it, not the oil of countries which hate our guts.
Do you have a problem with this? An environmental problem? Maybe the same kind of problem people had when they believed Al Gore\’s prediction, in 2008, that the north pole\’s ice cap would be gone in five years? (Hint: if you head up that way, don\’t bring a bathing suit…but some ice fishing gear might be useful).
Me, I\’m very happy about the lower prices, very happy about whose oil is causing it, and very happy about whose coffers are not being filled as much anymore.
Let\’s hope it stays that way for a while. Like a long, long, looooooooooong while.
