FROM THE ADMINISTRATION THAT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES\’ ELECTIONS…..

Remember that explanation of why President Obama would not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he comes to the United States and addresses a joint session of congress?

Remember that he said it would come too close to the Israeli elections, and he had a long-standing policy of not interfering in other countries\’ elections?

Did you believe him?  Do you still actually believe anything this man says?

Excerpted from Jacob Kornbluh\’s article at jpupdates.com:

After announcing he will be skipping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\’s speech to Congress for a trip abroad, US Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry both met on Saturday with Labor leader Isaac Herzog on the sidelines of a security conference in Munich, Germany.

The two sides insisted that the meetings were informal. But it reportedly revolved around security matters and the Zionist Union\’s defense strategy, Israeli media reported.

On Friday, Biden announced he\’ll miss Netanyahu\’s speech to Congress due to a pre-scheduled overseas trip, yet unnamed. Both Kerry and President Barack Obama said last month that they would not meet with Netanyahu during his visit to DC, citing its proximity to the March 17 elections.

But that didn\’t stop them from meeting with Herzog, who\’s trailing Netanyahu and the Likud Party in recent polls.

Liars. Hypocrites.

I read today that Prime Minister Netanyahu is considering cancelation of his trip and the address to congress.  I hope he does not do so…but would, at this point, understand if he did.

Here\’s something else I hope:  I hope Mr. Netanyahu wins a landslide victory in the upcoming Israeli elections….and exit polling shows the Obama administration\’s behavior is among the primary reasons it happened.

As it should be.

UPDATE:  It appears that what I read was wrong…at least for now.  Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it clear he intends to address congress.

Good.
