We spent a delightful morning and afternoon down the Jersey Shore, and at various shopping venues on Route 35.
One of them was at Fortunoff\’s Backyard Store in Eatontown, which advertised that they have “the lowest prices of the season”.
Is it just me, or did the season start today?
Because if I\’m right, these are not just the lowest prices of the season, they are the highest prices of the season too…at least until tomorrow.
And even if I\’m wrong and the season started days ago, or even a week ago? Since it presumably goes through most of the summer, what does “lowest prices of the season” mean now? That you shouldn\’t be shopping there for the entire rest of the season after this sale is over?
Maybe Fortunoff\’s might want to reconsider its advertising.
