Apropos of nothing political…..
My wife bought a package of Butterball turkey bacon. This morning, she asked me to cook some for her.
The front of the package had a corner where it said “Peel Here, New Easy Open”. I tried to do that. It didn’t peel. I dug my fingernail in to get it started. That didn’t work either. And, all the while, my wife is standing there, eventually giving me her patented “you can’t be this incompetent, it isn’t possible” look.
So I handed it to her.
She tried peeling it.
She dug her fingernail in.
She tried using her teeth.
Nope, nope and nope.
Then? She handed it back to me, said “just take a scissors and cut the m*****f****r open”, and walked out of the room.
What a happy, edifying start to my day.
Ok, back to politics, where there is no shortage of turkeys, and the more you peel back the less happy you are with what you find.

My husband, after 10 minutes, handed it to me- the fixer!
COULDN’T DO IT! Hysterical.
I am struggling with it now. I came on line to see if there were instructions on how to do the easy open.
