As I write this, virtually the entire country of Cuba is in darkness. It’s ancient power grid – the one castro and his pals left to disintegrate for all those years (while fidel became a near-billionaire, by the way) is beyond repair.
You can bet, though, that current Cuban “leader” Miguel Díaz-Canel, (whose net worth is estimated at tens to hundreds of millions of dollars) has plenty of electricity, even as what little food most Cubanos can afford to buy rots.
How much longer will the population of Cuba, even after almost 70 years of communist indoctrination, be willing to take? How much longer before they revolt?
Would it surprise you if/when a revolution takes place? I doubt it. And I hope it happens sooner rather than later.
