After a week and a half of video after video surfacing in which jonathan gruber makes it clear that he, along with Obama administration members fudged the explanation of ObamaCare\’s costs because, due to “American stupidity” people would not support a truthful version….
…and after Nancy Pe-Lie-si tells us that she never heard of gruber and he had nothing to do with ObamaCare – after which videos surface of her specifically referencing his involvement, along with a paean to his ObamaCare work on her own web site….
…and after we find out that gruber was paid almost $400,000 for his work on the federal version of ObamaCare, and millions more on various state versions…
…and after reports surface that gruber worked directly with President Obama on the wording of his economic model – the one he thinks we are too stupid to grasp the value of…
….we have this weekend\’s exchange between Mr. Obama and Fox Senior White House Correspondent Ed Henry:
EDHENRY: At your Burma townhall a couple of days ago, youtried to inspire young leaders by saying, “governments need tobe held accountable, need to be responsive to the people.” Iwonder how you square that with your former adviser, Jonathan Gruberclaiming you were not transparent about the health law because in hiswords the American people, the voters are stupid. Did you misleadAmericans about the taxes, about keeping your plan in order to getthe bill passed?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: No, I did not. I just heardabout this. I get well-briefed before I come out here. The fact thatsome adviser who never worked on our staff expressed an opinion thatI completely disagree with in terms of the voters, is no reflectionon the actual process that was run.
How stupid does President Obama think we are?
Stupid enough to believe he “just heard about this”, and that gruber – a $400,000 beneficiary of ObamaCare who constructed the economic model that most people now understand to be utter BS – was just “some adviser..,” and nothing more?
Evidently he does…just as Nancy Pelosi thinks we are too stupid to know that she was absolutely, unequivocally lying to our faces about gruber.
There is little doubt that a great many politicians in at least one major political party think we are stupid.
It would be nice if more of our wonderful “neutral” media were willing to identify which of the parties it is.

UPDATE: According to National Review\’s John Fund, “Gruber visited the White House nearly twenty times, according to official visitor logs. The White House actively promoted his work on Obamacare and touted his testimony to Senate committees as \’objective analysis.\'”
Asking again: how stupid do these people think we are? And how either incompetent or complicit are our mainstream media – which certainly had as much access to this information as Mr. Fund did.
