bill de blasio is the Mayor of New York.
This week a New York City police officer, the mother of three children, was shot in cold blood.
This week there was also an important police ceremony – the swearing in of 524 new recruits.
And Mayor de blasio’s involvement? He skipped the swearing-in ceremony….but he is flying off to Germany, where he will be the keynote speaker for a group – almost certainly comprised largely of anarchists and communists – protesting the G20 summit in general and President Trump in particular.
This behavior is so shameful that de blasio’s people hid it from the public until 90 minutes before his plane was taking off – presumably because if people knew what he was doing the pressure on him to cancel the trip would have been enormous.
In other words, there still are decent people out there.
What does this tell you about bill de blasi? It tells you that jetting off to attack our President on foreign soil to a bunch of useless losers who hate everything the United States stands for was more compelling to him than the killing of an officer and the swearing in of 524 new officers.
And the scariest part? Though I hope against hope that I am wrong, it is almost certain that New York City voters are going to re-elect this sack of garbage in November.
If so, they deserve what they get.
He is a big fat slob and it is amazing the idiots in NY will re-elect him.
