In the last day or two we have been bombarded with claims from many of our mainstream media venues, that the new White House ballroom being constructed will cost another billion dollars and that taxpayers are going to have to foot the bill.
That is a lie.
Reality check: the cost of the ballroom, which has risen to about $400 million, is being paid by private funds. And every cent, at least as of now, is going to be paid by taxpayers.
The billion dollars is for additional White House security – not at all unreasonable, given that there have been three attempts on the current President’s life (so far). And part of it will, of course, involve the ballroom – as part of it will involve every other part of the White House and the White House grounds.
Bottom line: the billion dollar ballroom claim is a flat out lie. Like the Russian collusion, like the hitler salute, like…..etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseam.
And these media wonder why fewer and fewer people trust them???? Can they possibly be this dense? This obtuse?
Apparently the answer is yes.
