For years, we have heard that the “National Action Network”, created and run by the execrable racist al sharpton, is little more than a scam to enrich sharpton\’s pockets, while giving him an ongoing public forum provided by media scared out of their minds to expose him.
The New York Post is one of the few media venues which refuses to be intimidated by sharpton\’s games. Today it has published another investigative piece, written by Isabel Vincent and Melissa Klein, which blows the lid off of this fraud and his “network”.

Formore than a decade, corporations have shelled out thousands ofdollars in donations and consulting fees to Sharpton’s NationalAction Network. What they get in return is the reverend\’s supposedsway in the black community or, more often, his silence.
SonyPictures co-chair AmyPascal metwith the activist preacher after leakede-mails showed her making racially charged comments aboutPresident Obama.
Nopayments to NAN have been announced, but Sharpton and Pascal agreedto form a “working group” to focus on racial bias in Hollywood.
“AlSharpton has enriched himself and NAN for years by threateningcompanies with bad publicity if they didn\’t come to terms with him.Put simply, Sharpton specializes in shakedowns,” said Ken Boehm,chairman of the National Legal & Policy Center, a Virginia-basedwatchdog group that has produced a book on Sharpton.
Sharptonraised $1 million for NAN at his 60th birthday bash in October, withdonations rolling in from unions and a corporate roster ofcontributors including AT&T, McDonald\’s, Verizon and Walmart.
Companieshave long gotten in line to pay Sharpton. Macy\’s and Pfizer haveforked over thousands to NAN, as have General Motors, American Hondaand Chrysler.

But, you might say, look at all the good this money does for Black people. \
Yeah, right. This is sharpton we\’re talking about, remember?
Do yourself a favor and read this piece – this 6 1/2 year old piece – from sweetness-light.com, which not only shows that sharpton has been pulling this garbage for a long time – way long enough for all mainstream media to catch on if it wanted to – but also shows the National Action Networks\’s actual tax returns…which indicate that virtually all the money it took in for a year went to salaries and consultants\’ fees….and that sharpton was the only employee.
Then recall that, just months ago, the New York Times – hardly a right wing organ – exposed the fact that Sharpton is a huge tax deadbeat, owing something like $4.5 – $5 million in back taxes.
And then think about the fact that this is the same al sharpton who is, literally, a kingmaker in the Democrat Party. A confidante of President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor bill de blasio, among others.
What does it tell you about al sharpton? What does it tell you about what he is pulling off today – with copious help from media (the New York Post and a precious few others excepted). And what does it tell you about the people who kiss his ring?
