According to Todd Richmond’s article for the Associate Press:
University of Wisconsin System leaders approved a policy Friday that calls for suspending and expelling students who disrupt campus speeches and presentations, saying students need to listen to all sides of issues and arguments.
Assuming the University of Wisconsin is serious about this policy, it – however belatedly – is a breath of fresh air.
The idea of a positive college experience is that students have their minds opened to different concepts, different point of views, which they may or may not agree with.
It is not to have their minds indoctrinated to one point of view, which fascistic college brownshirts and a sympathetic or too-cowardly-to-act administration allows them to be force-fed.
Let’s hope the University of Wisconsin means business…and that other institutes of higher learning follow suit.

My question is how/when did it become acceptable to disrupt or takeover someones rally, speech or presentation by shouting or protesting in some way and then ascribe it to the First Amendments section on freedom of speech???
For some reason a lot of college aged people believe that is freedom of speech. We need to find out why they believe that and put a stop to it.
