Did you see that heart-warming scene, this morning, when a five year old little girl wandered out into the road near where the Pope was was riding in his caravan, and the Pope waved her over and gave her a kiss?
What a beautiful spontaneous moment.
Except it was no such thing.
If you read Brandon Pool\’s article for Reuters, via CBS News, you will find that the little girl was a plant, sent out by an acivist group which demands legal status for the illegal aliens who have come to the USA by the millions.
What\’s more, after the incident took place, she had this to say to the Associated Press – which, I\’m sure, just spontaneously came out of her mouth:
“I believe I have theright to live with my parents,” Sophie told the AP after her moment withthe pope. “I have the right to be happy. My dad works very hard in afactory galvanizing pieces of metal. All immigrants just like my dad feed thiscountry. They deserve to live with dignity. They deserve to live with respect.”
Yep, every five year old you know talks just like that. No coaching at all.
In life – real life, not people\’s imaginations – there are very few coincidences. And this child, making herself fully visible to the Pope at exactly the right time, was not one of them.
