For this one, we have to invent a new term: Racial Correctness (RC).
From Michael Brice-Saddler’s article for the Washington Post:
A Women’s March group is canceling its January rally in Humboldt County, Calif., over concerns that its participants would be “overwhelmingly white.”
The decision comes amid division and tension in the broader Women’s March movement, which has unified millions of women and men in protest in the past two years.
Organizers of the 2019 Eureka Women’s March, originally scheduled for Jan. 19, said in a statement that the decision came after numerous conversations with leading local activists and supporters of the march.
“Up to this point, the participants have been overwhelmingly white, lacking representation from several perspectives in our community,” the Facebook statement read. “Instead of pushing forward with crucial voices absent, the organizing team will take time for more outreach.”
Let’s try to digest the above, er. “logic”:
-A “women’s march” rally is called.
-It is open to all women; not restricted by skin color in any way at all.
-It turns out that the women who want in are “overwhelmingly white” – not because non-White women are excluded, but because that’s who decided to be a part of it.
-So now the rally has been canceled because, of their own free will, not enough Black women signed on.
In other words the rally has been canceled, specifically, on racial grounds. And the group making an issue of race is informing us that its reason for doing so is to strike a blow against…racism??????????????
Welcome to today’s RC world. – where the lunacy continues. And gets worse.
