Did you know it is illegal for Jews to pray in Jordan?
And, yes, you read that correctly.

A group of approximately 20 haredi Jews are being detained at a hotel near Petra, Jordan, after they sought to go to the grave of the Biblical figure Aharon the High Priest, Ynet reported. The pilgrims’ religious items were confiscated, including their tefillin (phylacteries) and scullcaps.
Today (Monday) is the first of the Hebrew month of Av, traditionally considered to be the anniversary of Aharon’s death.
Jordanian police threatened Monday to jail any Jew in the country who prayed, the Times of Israel reported.
Rabbi Menashe Zelicha of Bnei Brak said the police told his group that “it is forbidden for Jews to pray in all of Jordan.”
“We are not allowed to pray in the morning, no tefillin, no prayer shawls, nothing – we cannot pray, even in the hotel, even inside our room,” Zelicha told the Kol Chai radio station. “Policemen came into the hotel and were shouting and went wild, saying that in a minute they would take us out of Jordan if we made even a tiny squeak. They told us, ‘Whoever prays will be taken to jail.’”
While thinking about what you just read, please remember that Jordan is one of the only Arab countries Israel is at peace with. Since 1994 – 23 years ago.
If this is the regard and respect a peace partner has for Israel, what do you think the levels are for countries like Syria, and Lebanon? Or, closer to home, Palestinian Arabs, who are committed to the hamas charter – which specifically calls for Israel’s annihilation and the death of all Jews?
Now: wouldn’t you think the United Nations, which talks a great game about human rights every day, might have something to say about this?
Yeah, right.
Based on decades of experience, it is clear that the Useless Neutered UN does have a policy about Jews in general and Israel in particular. Let me show it to you.
Simply stated, it is:
What’s the big deal? Hey, it’s just Jews. Who cares? If they complain, find something to condemn Israel for. If you can’t find something, make something up. Anything will do. It’s not as if we haven’t done it before.
And, as things now are, don’t expect this to change any time soon.
Jordan is screwed, at this moment many many Jews are praying inside there heads. Catch them if you can!!!
