First, the cartoon:

Cute. Funny. And a reminder that egg prices are through the roof.
Now: whose fault is it that egg prices are through the roof? Biden? Trump? Both? Neither?
A number of Democrats – with at least some media support (no surprise there) – are blaming Trump.
Are they right? That’s for you to decide. But if you’re going to make the decision, you would do well to see this chart:

Please note that the major bird flu-involved price spike – from under $1 a dozen to almost $5 – took place in 2023. Then, it “dropped” to about $2 a dozen – more than double where it had been. And then, over the past year or so, it rose again to about $5 a dozen.
Question: who was president when all this happened? Answer: Joe Biden, or whoever was running his presidency. NOT Donald Trump.
We can argue about how responsible a President might be for a bird flu-induced rise in the price of eggs (personally I don’t see how a President has much to do with it).
But if you’re going to blame a President, remember that the higher prices took place under Joe Biden, and Donald Trump inherited them.
