VOTERS 54,000, WHERE ARE YOU?

They are voting in old Brooklyn,

Or at least they’re trying to,

In a primary election

Clinton’s hoping to squeak through,

But when they get to the polls,

folks are missing from the rolls….

54,000 voters, where are you?????

Is it just me, or is there reason to suspect that the 54,000 voters who have disappeared from Bernie Sanders’ home borough of Brooklyn seem a bit more than coincidence?

Excerpted from Yoav Gonen and Carl Campanile’s article in the New York Post:

In a pre-primary bombshell, the city’s Board of Elections was pummeled with questions Monday about how 54,000 Democratic voters vanished from the rolls in Brooklyn.

The voter rolls on April 1 showed the borough had 853,687 registered Democrats who are considered “active” because they voted at least once in the last four years.

But in November, there were 917,508, or 63,558 more.

The board said the numbers changed because many once-active voters were moved to the inactive list.

But that list grew by only 9,154 voters — from 82,807 to 91,961 — leaving 54,404 Brooklyn voters missing.

Now where could they be?  I know I saw them somewhere?

Ahhh, yes.  Election fun and games at its finest.  And who is most likely to lose out if Brooklyn voters are missing?  Could it just possibly be the guy who grew up there?

I have no answers and cannot prove a thing.  But I know how this looks and feels.

So do you.
