Yesterday the American Jewish Congress (AJC) bestowed its Lifetime Achievement Award on Hillary Clinton.
WHAT achievement? WHAT has she done in her lifetime, aside from being appointed and elected to a series of positions which she has accomplished nothing in – that and amassing a museum-load of BS awards like this one?
Allow me to post, as I have before but apparently need to again, Hillary Clinton\’s “lifetime achievements”:
-Fresh out ofYale Law School, she became a staff lawyer for theWatergate committee – andwas tossed out by Chief Counsel Jerome Zeifman (a lifelongDemocrat let\’s remember), without a reference or recommendation,because he considered her work to be shoddy and dishonest.
-She then joined the consummately corrupt Rose law firm in LittleRock – where, as her husband became the state\’s Attorney General andthen its Governor, she became a partner and then a senior partner,without having to engage in almost any litigation at all.
-Then we have her appointment(by her Husband the Governor) to head the Arkansas EducationalStandards Committee, which resulted in no educational gain for thestate;
-Next was an appointment (byher husband – now the President) to head the Task Force on HealthCare Reform, which resulted in a set of proposals that even Democrats would not vote for. They were so bad that iconic Democrat Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan said “anyonewho thinks (the Clinton plan) can work in the real world as presentlywritten, isn\’t living in it.”;
-This was followed by 8 yearsin the US Senate, during which she neither kept her promiseof helping the upstate New York economy, nor saw any majorlegislation through to passage and enactment;
-In 2008 she ran forPresident….but Barack Obama showed her up as a patheticserial liar and blew right past her supposedly inevitable candidacyto become the Democrat candidate instead;
-And, most recently, we have her four year stintas Secretary of State, during which the Benghazi massacre took place because State didnot adequately protect the facility nor send help when itcame under attack. Her most notable moment? Finally showing up atthe Benghazi hearings after ducking them for four months, andpetulantly whining “What difference does it make” whether the attack was due to a spontaneous protest or an act of terrorism.
This is a lifetime of achievement? By whose standards? Larry\’s, Moe\’s or Curly\’s?
Asking the AJC: we have spent the last five years – with three to go – enduring a President with tons of press and no accomplishments who, talent and competency-wise, has no business in the oval office. Do you really want four, maybe eight, more just like it?
And do you really believe that Hillary Clinton, who was just fine with Barack Obama\’s treatment of Israel during four years in his administration and only speaking out now (and tepidly at that) because there is personal gain in it, is a true friend of Israel? If she could look the other way for four years with Obama, she can do it again.
But she does have that Lifetime Achievement award from you, doesn\’t she? Another tool she can use to convince gullible supporters of Israel – Jews and non-Jews both – that she is worthy of their vote (and, lamentably, there are tons of them.
If the AJC wanted to make itself look absolutely ridiculous, my congratulations to the organization. Mission accomplished.
