Today\’s quote comes to us from Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This is what she said about the fact that South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who is ancestrally Indian, will offer the Republican response to President Obama\’s State Of The Union address:
“It\’s pretty clearthat Nikki Haley is being chosen because the Republican Party has a diversity problem. “Haley\’s failed record gives her no credibilitywhatsoever. In fact it exemplifies exactly why the last thing weneed is a Republican to make the same mistakes at the national level.”
In other words, the only reason Governor Haley was selected was so she could be a token dark-skinned person. An overt racial slight.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is awarded Quote Of The Day “honors” for being living proof that disgusting, vicious racism is alive and well in the Democrat Party. The only difference is that Democrats generally get free passes for their racism…which, I am betting, Shultz will for this example of it.
One other thing – regarding Ms. Haley\’s “failed record”: she was re-elected Governor the November before last, in a landslide. That\’s not the kind of vote total you get for failure.
