Yes, you read that title correctly.
From Emanuel Fabian’s article for the Times Of Israel:
The Israel Defense Forces on Monday accused Hamas gunmen of firing at troops from Shifa Hospital’s emergency room, maternity and burn wards, as the terror group claimed patients were dying due to the ongoing military operation in the facility.
“Right now, Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists are barricading themselves inside Shifa hospital wards. Hamas is destroying Shifa Hospital,” IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said in an English-language video statement. “Hamas is firing from inside the Shifa emergency room and maternity ward and throwing explosive devices from the Shifa burn ward. Terrorists hiding around the hospital fired mortars at our forces, causing extensive damage to the hospital buildings.”
The IDF said the number of confirmed members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad captured by troops at the Gaza City medical center had risen to 500, out of over 800 suspects arrested since the raid began last week.
Are you shocked? You should be, because this is shocking.
Are you surprised? You shouldn’t be, because this is hamas.
Is it true? Well, try (as I did) to find any media reports disputing this – e.g. claiming Israel is attacking the hospital for no reason, or commenting that the IDF is lying about how many prisoners they’re removing from that location. You won’t.
Compare that to the hamas lie about Israel bombing/destroying the Al Ahli hospital in northern Gaza and killing 500 people…which massive video and audio evidence proved to be a 100% lie.
Is there any doubt that, if Israel could be caught in the same kind of a lie, international media would be all over it? We both know the answer.
So what is the news here?
It is that, again as they do ongoingly, hamas is using their own people as human shields – in this case, their own hospitalized people.
I’ll end by repeating what I pointed out earlier:
