Here we go again.
Megan McCain, Senator John McCain\’s daughter, had the temerity to criticize Donald Trump on Fox News\’s “The Five” show. And here is Trump\’s reaction, via Twitter (which he seems to spend a great deal of time on):
“Meghan McCain was terrible on The Fiveyesterday. Angry andobnoxious, she will never make it on TV. Fox News can do so much better!”
Can this possibly be important enough to occupy Donald Trump\’s mind?
Before you answer, please consider that, just days ago, Trump attacked radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt for asking him about several international heads of state and “leaders” whom a President would have to deal with. On-air, Trump\’s reaction was to call them “gotcha” questions, characterize them as “ridiculous”, tell Hewitt that he would have people in his administration to handle the people he clearly did not know a thing about (who? he didn\’t say), and, afterwards, petulantly call Hewitt a “third rate” talk show host.
Is this the maturity level we want for a President? Do we really want someone who spends his time pumping out childish insults to calm his wiwoo sensibiwities, instead of, say, learning about the people he, or any President, would have to deal with?
Mr. Trump: congratulations. You\’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of your barroom loudmouth act – far more because people like what sounds like straight talk from you, instead of the mealy-mouthed two sided barf so many of our politicians give us. But not – repeat, not – because they want you as President, even if the summer polls convince your supersedingly huge ego otherwise.
Please go back to building your luxury condos and exclusive country clubs. That is what you are of, and where you belong.
