AnArby\’s spokesman told The Daily Caller News Foundation Thursday night that theemployee who refused to serve a Florida police officer out of resentment forpolice has been indefinitely suspended and that the manager of the location hasbeen fired.
“We take this isolated mattervery seriously as we respect and support police officers in our localcommunities,” Arby\’s spokesman Jason Rollins told TheDCNF in astatement. “As soon as the issue was brought to our attention, our CEOspoke with the Police Chief who expressed his gratitude for our quick actionand indicated the case is closed.”
Let\’s see….an employee refuses toserve a police officer because she is in uniform. He is suspended, butstill has a job. But the manager, who did not refuse the police officerservice, is fired? This is supposed to make sense?
Did Arby\’s fire the manager for telling the employee not to serve the cop? If so, why is the employee suspended for doing exactly what his manager said to do? And if the manager didn\’t tell the employee to behave this way, i.e. he did it on his own, why is the manager fired and why does he still have a job?
Meatheads.
