On June 24th, in reaction to Associated Press investigative reporter George Jahn\’s article about the USA offering high-tech reactors to Iran, and Iran refusing to allow inspections, I wrote this:
According to George Jahn\’s article for the Associated Press,:
The Barack Obama and John Kerry-led United States, along with other nations that do not give a damn about Israel, are now willing to offer high-tech reactors and other equally potent equipment to Iran, in return for a promise that it won\’t use them for atomic arms.
This is after Iran\’s Supreme Leader, ayatollah ali khamenei, informed his “negotiating partners” he would not allow inspections of nuclear facilities or interviews with Iranian scientists…
…not that this matters, since Iran\’s current “government” has a rich history of ignoring every deal it has agreed to anyway.
My feeling is, why deal with a middleman?
If Barack Obama and John Kerry are going to do this much to facilitate the building of a nuclear weapon – which Iran, as it has promised numerous times, will then drop on Israel – why not just do it ourselves.
Hell, with Obama and Kerry negotiating, we\’re doing everything but. So why not go all the way?
You can\’t say it wouldn\’t be a legacy builder.
On August 19th, in reaction to Mr. Jahn\’s discovery that a side deal will – incredibly – allow Iran to self-inspect a site it probably is using to develop nuclear weapons, I wrote this:
For anyone still conning him/herself into believing the nuclear “deal” cooked up by Barack Obama and John Kerry is in any way going to impede Iran\’s development of nuclear weapons…
…here is the first paragraph of George Jahn\’s article for the Associated Press:
Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work, according to a document seen by The Associated Press.
Iran will use its own inspectors?????????????????????????????????
That does not even qualify as insane.
If you still think this deal has any validity, other than to validate Iran\’s well-justified belief that it is dealing with a pair of incompetent, inept jokes, along with a Useless Neutered UN that won\’t cry a tear if one of its nuclear warheads hits Tel Aviv, I don\’t know how to reach you.
And today, we have this, excerpted from Fred Fleitz\’s truly unsettling article at Investors Business Daily:
…the side deals are almost certainly a U.S. initiative to quietly drop the PMD (Possible Military Dimensions) issue by separating it from the nuclear agreement and placing it in a secret IAEA-Iran agreement that the American people and Congress cannot see.
As such, the side deals violate the requirements of the Corker-Cardin bill (the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act), which requires that the administration provide to Congress all documents associated with the Iran nuclear agreement – including all side agreements.
The secret side deals amount to national security fraud by the Obama administration. There are many reasons for members of Congress to vote against the Iran deal, but it\’s hard to see how anyone in Congress can vote for it in light of this deliberate attempt by the Obama administration to conceal from Congress its effort to drop a crucial benchmark needed to verify Iran\’s compliance with the agreement.
If people knew just how insane, how dangerous this “deal” is, if they knew just how unprotected it leaves us – and Israel, which Iran is committed to obliterating – and Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, and other countries hated by Iran which would be within its range, they would be outraged.
Lucky for Obama & Co. that mainstream media are barely mentioning the “deal” any more, except to speculate on whether President Obama has enough votes to push it through congress, not what is in it.
If we had serious media, which used investigative reporters like George Jahn, and then reported the stories as they were instead of picking and choosing in an effort to cover the backsides of politicians they preferred, Mr. Obama and Mr. Kerry might be in a lot of trouble right now…..
